Yearend Banquet

The yearend banquet is scheduled for April 17/10 at the CAW hall on Bunting road, please check back soon for more details.


COACHES CUP

Yes sir. The Coaches Cup is up for grabs again this year. The mini tournament is scheduled for March 22, 23 and 25th at the 4-pad. Register early as we need 54 coaches by the deadline or it will fold.  Player cost is $30 by March 1st or $40 after. Goalies (4) play at NO COST.

TYKE: Hey Tyke Sharks !!!!! Coach Don’s post game comment today – You Tyke Sharks have a lot of “HEART” !!!!! You have made us all “Proud” of you because you played hard as a “Team” and never gave up” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is one of the “Best” Teams” I have had the “Privilege” to Coach. The Tyke Sharks dropped a close one on Saturday to the Canadians losing 2 – 1. The lone goal scorer for the Tyke Sharks was Adam Caligiuri with Jon-Michael Bellante adding an assist. The Tyke Sharks dropped their second game of the weekend with a 5 – 3 decision to the Redwings. Adam Caligiuri had two goals and Patrick Hurley added the third goal for the Sharks. Karter Burdon, Zachary Mambella and Justin Roberts added assist in today’s game goals. Adam Caligiuri continued on his scoring way this weekend by adding two goals to the scoreboard against the Redwings. Patrick Hurley scored the third goal in today’s contest. Karter Burdon, Zachary Mambella and Justin Roberts added assist in today well played game.

NOVICE: The Novice Sharks played a great game on Saturday against the Canadiens, Getting off to a rough start cost us the game. losing 5-2 the Sharks put up a great fight and will eat them up on Championship weekend. Goals by Luke Wainwright and Noah Wainwright. GO SHARKS GO!!!

The Sharks had a great upset on Sunday against the Redwings with a 4-1 loss. Goal scored by Zaden Anderson and assisted by Luke Wainwright.

ATOM: The ATOM SHARKS had a very productive weekend, winning both of their games!  On Saturday, the ATOM SHARKS faced off against the Canadiens.  Neither team scored in the first period.  Gordon Burtnik and Owen Waszynski both scored in the second, with assists by Owen and Zack Beaudette.  In the third period, 2 more goals were added by Liam Hancock and Jordan Everett.  Assists were made by Andrew McCall and Justin Leggat.  Our fearless goalie, Jack Mikus, held the Canadiens to only 1 goal.  Way to go team!

On Sunday, the ATOM SHARKS were challenged by the Redwings.  The Redwings were the first to score in the first period.  We answered with 3 goals in the second period by Liam, Kyle McKay and Owen Waszynski.  In the third period both teams scored.  The Redwings would get a goal and we would answer with another goal.  Back and forth it went.  In the end, the SHARKS added 4 more goals to their score.  Owen completed his hat trick with 2 more goals in the 3rd period, Liam and Jordan each added 1.  Assists were made by Andrew, Nathan Jesik, William Burtch, Jordan, Gordon, Justin and Liam.

PEEWEE:

BANTAM: The Bantam Sharks played to victory over the St. Mary's Majors Sunday evening for a 6-1 win.  Second period saw goals by Ernie Burdon (Jeff DiFrancesco, Alex Lastewka) and Lastewka (Cole Redfearn).  Action in the Majors crease in the third came from Devin Halamay (Daulton Magee, DiFrancesco), Burdon (Lastewka, DiFrancesco), Davis Thomson (unassisted), and Magee (Halamay, DiFrancesco).

MIDGET: The Midget Sharks lost a hard 2-1 battle against the St. Patrick's Predators.  The single Shark goal was scored in the second period by Paul Simons, assisted by Pierre Dupuis and Devin Gribble.  Rest up over March Break, Sharks!!
